For all you haters, degenerates, and fanboys, you must understand that neither the 360 nor the PS3 is worth getting at this moment in time. Paying anywhere from $400-$600 for systems right now that have a limited quantity of good games isn't worth it. The only real game worth getting on the 360 is Gears of War, you know this. Sony fanboys, Resistance isn't worth the $500-600 price tag. Motorstorm pretty much lost all of it's hype after the IGN article http://ps3.ign.com/articles/765/765336p1.html The game may look good graphically but it plays slow and is obviously being rushed. It will score somewhere in the low 8's here on GS, 7.9 even, considering the media despises the over-priced PS3.
Basically, if you're looking to get into next-gen gaming, buy an HDTV first and wait till the 360 and the PS3 drop in price (or wait for a good promotion like bundled games or discounts). Anyone undecided on whether to purchase a PS3 or a 360, look at the lineup of games being released for each one in the next few years and make your decision accordingly.
Finally, by no means is the PS3 a bad console. Lemmings, your whole argument of "all cows say wait, wait, wait," is void considering you had to wait a year for Gears. Listing off "PDZ, KAMEO, COD2, PGR3" as solid launch titles won't work. Those games aren't spectacular by today's gaming standards, you know this. Further, you who were suckered into buying PDZ don't like the game either. MGS4, FFXII, DMC4 are 3 very solid titles and you can't take that way from the PS3. Halo 3, Mass Effect, and whatever lame game you guys are hyping are solid titles as well.
That's probably what everyone posting 160+ really is. I doubt all of the world's geniuses are posting in the OT right now. Seriously. I don't think anyone here is above 150-160. Unless they're very, very gifted.
I am in the 170's, 172 i believe. Does that mean i'm very gifted? no, i'm just a normal College freshmen with a 4.0 which i might add, is not hard to get in your first year. Atleast not for me. All my IQ means is i am very good with comprehension and logical organization and application.
