True , but that was the Technology at that time, like the Technology of today will be outdated in 35 years as well. It will only continue advance.

At 8, I knew how to set the timer on the VCR, something I show my 40 year old parents to do.

I expect 5-10 years my kids will be explaining me things too.

@CaveManCobb:

Last time I checked it's 2015, not 1950.

I encourage my kids to embrace technology, it will help them in life.

I played games on an Atari 2600 at 6 and I've done okay for myself.

He just went up in my estimation massively. I don't have an issue with him either.

What he says is right though. As a parent it's hard ensuring kids don't buy stuff even with in app purchases turn off. On Android I don't have a clue for example. On iOS it seems a lot easier, but then I'm used to that.

Free to start games aimed at kids, soon suck them in and hit a pay wall. It's then harder to say no it costs money. That's why I prefer they play on consoles.

Yes, but I guess the reason Uncharted sold only relatively well was due to the player base on PS3. It launched almost two years after the 360 and as a result, the player base was probably more casual.

Sales of the 3 games was around 21M. That's not a lot for each game considering the sold 100m consoles.

I thought the games at the time were fantastic, especially the second one. I plan to get the collection for Christmas.

Maybe you missed this.

More focus on mobile yes, but not at the expense of console games and not just PES.

Would be like Rockstar saying no more GTA games.

MGS is fast becoming GotY contender for me. It's excellent and very detailed. There is a tonne of this to do, I'm 50 hours plus in and only at 13%.

PES is also a fantastic edition this year and if it were not for MGS, I'd be completely hooked on it too.

Looking forward to other games from Konami, based on these two.

@walterg74:

5mbps is the maximum, the reality is far less. Other streaming services buffer continually. I also appreciate there are people far worse off, but when the standard in my area in general is 300mbps, it becomes frustrating. Plus I like a good whine.

Starts in Spain this month for 10€ a month for HD and 8€ for SD. That's roughly $11,20 today. Last year that would have equated to $14.

There is also limited choice for content like Netflicks in Spain though and my 5mbps will struggle with HD content anyway.
