Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Directed by Michael Bay, Starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

So I went to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with a friend who had two free IMAX passes. The reason I went? Well, it was IMAX and it was free. Little did I know that the free pass would be a blessing in disguise...
Michael Bay brings the boom boom pow in his latest blockbuster... because, well, that's all he really knows how to do. I'll give in and say the cinematography was decent, but that's pretty much all the positive I have to say about him and his crew. If you're looking for 146 [or so] minutes of mindless, senseless explosions and gunfire, then this movie is for you and Michael Bay doesn't disappoint. But for Bay, explosions are the only thing he focused in this story-less film. Seriously... Robot Heaven? The film was a dreadful adventure filled with poor acting (I'm looking at you Megan Fox), gaudy dialogue (*Autobot kills a Decepticon* Autobot: Damn, I'm good), and not to mention the length of the film is agonizing.
The film introduces two new characters: Leo, Sam's conspiracy-obsessed roommate, and Alice, a sexy Pretender Decepticon, who probably gives us one of the funniest moments in the film. Seriously, the Pretender Decepticon is very laughable. I mean, it's a metal tail coming out of her ass!
Unfortunately, gaudy dialogue, crappy jokes, and explosions do not make films great, instead it makes them into typical, horrible Hollywood blockbusters. The film has three positives: 1) Megan Fox looks amazing on IMAX; 2) The film will look amazing on Blu-Ray; and 3) Thank god for John Turturro.
Final Words: Thank heavens it was a free pass and I did not have to spend any of my own money to see it.
