This actually looks like it has a lot of promise. Especially since Dragon Quest V has more than a few heart jerking moments. I'm honestly just glad that people are actually looking at the idea of video game movies and shows and saying "hey, maybe if we actually TRY, it could be good!"
They JUST dropped over 20% of their stock over this, and they want to push more towards it? This is just flat out bad marketing. Even a former Blizzard publisher and finance researchers are commenting about how Blizzard isn't in touch with their fans anymore.
A really solid freebie month! I already own Yakuza Kiwami, but I had an absolute blast with it, plus its a great jumping on point for newcomers to the Yakuza series.
As for Bulletstorm, I've always been interested in trying it, so this gives me the perfect excuse! Looks like a lot of over the top, cartoonishly brutal fun!
Honestly, they really botched this. Both in terms of trying to make the game look good and how they built it up for presentation. I don't care how popular mobile phones are: games for them aren't a head liner at a triple-A video game conference.
This entire fiasco did show one thing though: there is a pretty massive disconnect between what Blizzard fans want and what these devs and Activision/Blizzard think Diablo fans want. Also, the whole corporate-talk responses of "nothing is wrong, everything's fine, please give us money regardless" really reminds me of how EA has been responding to their controversies.
I'm not saying the game is destined to be terrible, but they did not introduce it properly. Also, Blizzard, stop trying to delete comments on Youtube. You think nobody will notice, but they do, and it will only make you look way worse.
This character is completely out of nowhere and a super bizarre choice... and I LOVE IT. Plus that attack where he aims and launches out of the pipe looks DEADLY.
Also for people saying that the DLC is just money grabbing or cut content-
1) Piranha Plant isn't finished and can be picked up for free till the end of January.
2) The other five characters are all total newcomers who have had no dev. time yet, and who each come with a stage and more music, meaning they could be almost anybody. Honestly, IMO, that seems worth the $25.
Honestly, I'm happy with this. We've already gotten so many characters with this Smash, and these two while not being my top choices look like fun to play and bring the base roster up to 74. Plus, we already got Ridley, K.Rool, and TWO Belmonts, plus the return of Snake and Ice Climbers: this is honestly a beautiful and massive roster.
