As brilhasti mentionned, the chipset is much more important than the onboard memory. The problem is that processor on the 7300 is relatively weak (and the LE is an even more downgraded version). That's why that processor isn't quite capable of filling the entire memory with data. In other words, in order to take advantage of a large memory size, you will need a fast processer on the GPU. In more practical terms: the difference between a 128MB and a 512MB version of the 7300LE is only marginal, maybe a frame or 2 per second. (check some reviews...) To achieve higher performance, you might consider upgrading to a faster DX9 card or even better a DX10 card. PS: the 7300 series is a budget-priced card with limited performance. For gaming, this card is far from being ideal.
