I may have some pretty good ideas but still it would be smart to sell the old xbox for some money back I mean it would be a sad thing to just break aworkingxbox 360 but still there is some funny stuff you can do to ur friend:P
Something like this happened to my friend and I think it was becuase of corrupted Data somewhere on the hdd try to look in the hdd around for some corrupted data and Delete it
