So I just got a PSP. How is the online community? Can you play most games online and are there a lot of people out there playing? Also can I play online anywhere there is a wifi internet connection?

Exactly. It sounds like you might plan on buying the HDD later, which is going to cost more. IMO the HDD is absolutely essential..... Without it you're only going to end up using maybe 60% of what the 360 is capable of. Just save up the extra $75 or so for the 20GB version and be done with it.

Well I am buying the arcade console from a friend for a very good price. And I can get a 20 gig HD on eBay for around $50. And before you guys that are afraid of eBay start giving me your warnings please don't bother. I am a VERY active ebayer. I have bought and sold over 6 laptops and dozens of PDAs and Cell phones. Infact a guy I bought a used iPaq from has a 20 gig 360 HD for $50 and the iPaq he sold me was perfect so I trust him. He even gives me a 30 day guarantee.

Thanks for the info though I should be able to get the console for $100 and the HD for $50 so the whole thing will end up costing me $150, thats great because I will have more money left over for games.

Can you just buy an Xbox HD and add it later?

And what are the limitations to the 360 without an HD? You cant save games at all? When you turn it off all your game progress is lost?

I already have a good PC and have played all the new games. Orange Box, Crysis, Bioshock, WiC, Assassin's Creed, etc. I will always play PC games but I'm getting sick for FPS games and I really want a good racing game like Forza 2 with a good online community. Plus I want a baseball game even it 2k8 is terrible. Plus I'm not going to spend one more penny on my computer, I spent $500 on it like 6 months ago and its already out of date.

WiC is the best PC game in the last year. Good strategy games like that are about all that really shine on PC now. All the others just are too much of the same.

So are there any issues with playing Xbox 1 games on a 360? I would still love to be able to play RalliSport Challenge 2 and TOCA 3 on the 360.
