music, pics, and videos can stream across from PC to 360. I believe music and pics can go over no matter the format (MP3 WMA is preferable) but videos have to be WMV then it is just setting the folder to share through media connect VIA one of the software pieces listed in my last posting here.  then with the App running you go to the 360 and choose music (easiest way to see if it works) and choose from computer, it will ask to confim whether you want to do it and what needs to be running, after you OK it is should poll for computer names. after it finds some it should come back telling you the name of your PC you are trying to stream from. select it and it should grab all the media you told the PC to allow to stream. If media connect is not running then the 360 will tell you it can't find any PC on the network, check the share settings on the PC. I forget the link, but you can go to xbox360.com and search for windows media connect instructions. it will tell you how to set up and what to download to make it work.

I have mine streaming Pics, vids, and MP3s off of my laptop and my desktop. (you can only stream from one source at a time) I have to disconnect one PC first and then go through the set up again to choose the other. I wish they would update to allow more than 1 connection.

yes you can. the videos have to be in WMV format though. after you convert the video files then add the folder to Windows Media Connect to share out, I believe Windows Media Player 11 has WMConnect built in, as well as the Zune software now.

aither way make sure all the videos you want to stream are in WMV format and link them the software listed above before trying to connect the PC to the 360.

sorry to burst your bubble but look at the time of my post versus the time they posted the notice about the game. I posted first about. the only thing Gamespot had at the time was "Need for Speed (working title) Due Date: TBA"

then a short bit after my post they marked the new name. I had also sent the News Tip to them about it also.

I am a huge fan of the whole NFS series, indeed Carbon was not as good as it could have been, I still enjoyed it. I can't wait for this one.
