i have pokemon diamond and everytime i try to enter the fight area (after the elite 4) the game freezes, when i walk into town i have tried to enter it in 3 different ways the boat, north entrance and the east entrance

should i restart or is it somthing wrongwith the game?

i thought i read somewhere that nintendo will release blank cards and you can put a downloadable game on... i think its on wikipedia
