I'm not seeing anything on the xbox ONE that comes close to infamous: SS and the division. Linear games like RYSE look and run worse than open-world games on the PS4.[QUOTE="battlefieldfan6"][QUOTE="Antwan3K"]

wow, there are some really insecure fanboys on these forums.. if the PS4 is so much more powerful than the Xbox One, then we'd be seeing it in the games at LAUNCH.. as cows are so quick to point out, "this isnt like the PS3 vs 360 any more, where the PS3 was more powerful but much harder to develop for.. the PS4 is more powerful and easy to develop for so there will be instant results".. well?.. ok, show me these PS4 games that are wiping the floor with Xbox One offerings at launch.. it's "40% more powerful" right?.. no?.. nothing to show?.. well, what are we arguing about then?.. just theories then huh?.. gotcha.. "GDDR5" is quickly becoming worse than "teh cloudz" in terms of wishful thinking..
i can readily admit that the PS4 is more powerful on paper and also comes in at a $100 cheaper price point.. that's an obvious advantage.. PSN is also gaining ground on XBL with the addition of party chat.. so yea, i can see how the PS4 is very appealing and i personally plan on getting one myself eventually.. but lets not get carried away here.. the Xbox One does come with it's advantages aswell.. PSN is catching up, but XBL is still leading the way.. Online gaming is important in XBL is still much better than PSN as a whole.. Also most people in the real world (i.e. not on these forums) care about mulitmedia, apps, and "cool gimmicks" like voice control, gestures, facial recognition, and full body tracking.. obviously we've moved pass the days of the "Wii fad" where motion control was all about party games, but the Kinect 2.0 is all about enhancing core gaming expereiences in titles like Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Battlefield 4, and more while still providing the best motion control options imaginable for casual players who want party games for family gatherings as well..
also, just keep in mind that the PS4 wont always have the price advantage.. just like in this current gen, when the 360 came out with nearly a $200 cheaper price point and price cuts by Sony eventually made that a non-issue.. eventually we'll be looking at a $299 PS4 and a $299 Xbox One but the Xbox One will be packing more out of the box.. at that point, the only thing will matter is the only thing that should be mattering right now: GAMES.. and as of right now, these precious spec comparisons arent changing the fact that both systems are perfroming equally in terms of launch titles.. which happens to go hand-in-hand with the link i just posted of John Carmack saying exactly that..
So right now, us hardcore gaming fans are choosing which console to get first and which one to get later (or maybe which one to get exclusively).. I just think Sony fans are getting too caught up in the short term view imo.. The Xbox One simply does everything bettter than the PS4 when you look at everything a console is expected to do in 2013 with and beyond (online multipayer, multimedia, voice/gesture/motion control, apps, second screen, etc) while still performing on the same level in terms of a pure gaming.. with Microssoft as a software company that is steadily moving towards a services/hardware company that's trying to unify "Windows PC", "Windows Phone", and "Xbox", this trend will only continue.. the Xbox One is truly going to be an "all-in-one" box that is eventually going to be selling for the same price as the PS4.. Sure, right now, Xbox One fans are paying an extra $100 premium at launch for the promise of Kinect 2.0 benefits but last gen PS3 fans (including myself) paid a $200 premium for the promise of Blu-ray benefits.. the PS3 and Blu-ray turned out fine, the Xbox One and Kinect 2.0 will turn out fine, and life will go on..
price drops tend to solve everything.. especially when (according to John Carmack) the two consoles have hardware that are "very close" and "essentially the same"..

inFamous is an open world game and Dead Rising 3 is an open world game.. both look on par graphically and have their advantages technically.. inFamous: SS has more fast-paced action with awesome powers but Dead Rising 3 will have LOADS more enemies on the screen.. apples to oranges?.. maybe.. but both games look stellar and on even ground.. imo, MGS5 looks better than both of them as an open world game and it's multiplatform..
The Division is multiplatform as well.. again, we're seeing even performance so far form both consoles..
Dead Rising 3 is running at 15 FPS and has last-gen graphics...I'm not seeing anything on the xbox ONE that comes close to infamous: SS and the division.
