Negative.

In order to my keep my "zen" thing going, I have to avoid looking at people who I went to high school lying about how perfect their lives are.

Best choice I've made in some time was deleting my account.

As others have said, mom takes priority. You may have answered this prior but what have other immediate members of the family thought/said thus far? This also might help you make a decision.

My condolences though. You'll be in my prayers.

Within these Walls is good. It is about a failing crime writer, and his last ditch effort to write a memoir/personal account from an occult leader. I've enjoyed it, but I stopped reading it because it got too dark for me. :P

Humanism and religion are not mutually incompatible. For example there are Christian humanists, including Martin Luther King, Pope Francis, Pope John Paul II, and Stephen Colbert.

Question is when will humans become more tolerant of others beliefs and differences?

Also, agreed. ^

Never.

It is precisely and primarily because of my faith that I feel compelled to do good and to hope for the best for all of humanity. Without my faith, I'd argue I would have become resentful, bitter, and then downright hateful. I am so glad that is not what happened.

Couple rules here:
Pick the director, and the actors/actresses that would "star in it."

For me, I still think they could make a great Halo movie. I'd want Alfonso Cuaron to direct it, and I'd want the voice actor from the game to play the Chief. Same for Arbiter. Kinda tossed up for who would play Johnson. I think Jessica Chastain could pull off a great Cortana voice, and I'd want her to be a major component of the story.

With the right B movie tone, I also think they could make an awesome Gears of War movie. Maybe someone like Guy Ritchie or Robert Rodriguez could direct. Tossed up between those two. Travolta as Marcus Fenix, Lester Speight as Cole (obviously), not sure about Dom, and, as weird as it sounds, Alan Tudyk as Baird. Again, if they KNEW to make it half cheese fest, half no-holds barreled action movie, I think it could work really well.

What about you guys?

Seeing as the Pacific Northwest is one of the best areas in the US for beer, yes, you could say I love, not like, the taste of alcohol.

Note how the question is not WHO you enjoy the most, but what type? I won't define or group types myself, but there are obvious categories that immediately come to mind: spammer, political debater, RC enthusiast, lurkers, etc.

Of an OT user type you define in your post, who do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy intelligent, well-informed yet simultaneously humble users. Someone whose posts are smart but accessible, intellectual yet also grounded.

What about you guys?
