A lot of folks do not seem to understand this the CEO of Sony not just the head of the games division and when the CEO expresses doubt that should relly set off warning bells. No CEO if they truly believe in there product would ever bring up the fact that they could fail. For him to even express the idea that its possible the PS3 could fail is a bad sign.

Weather it happens or not if your a dev and you see this you have to wonder if your making a mistake by making a game for the system.

So now that Sonys own boss has some doubt lets see how this coulp be spun to make positive news.

So a game sales almost 180,000 copies in a week:
Said game also sells 40,000 PS3s lest we forget the PS3 only sold 19,000+ again last week.
Also lest we forget the game sold almost 130,000 on day one and 30,000 PS3s.
Now do some math how many Units sold the rest of the week?

You are responding to someone paid by Sony to post on the boards just like alliwantisapsp this guy is a paid shill.

If there are any mods around they should ban him there are way to many paid shills around now.

Heres on more intresting sales number:

720,000 the total number of PS3s sold in Japan to date and this is with the 1,000,000 that Sony said they shipped 2 weeks into January. Plus an average of 50,000 more shipped each week so looking at it that way you would see the PS3 did not even sell out a shipment since launch.

For the PS3 crowd harping about how great this is just remember the first day sales of Gundam were roughly 130,000 units and 30,000 ps3s so that means in the 6 days after the first day of sales the gundam game only sold 40,000 more and the ps3 only sold 10,000 more so how is this so great again?

Remeber last week the ps3 again sold less then 20,000 total.

The one thing that no one seems to think of is gundam sold roughly 130,000 day one and roughly 30,000 ps3s that same day so to put it in perspective it only sold 40,000 more copies in 6 days and the ps3 only sold 10,000 more in the same 6 days that should tell you all something.
