Yeah, I don't know why that concept is so hard for people to grasp. My son uses my old rig from 2008 and it still plays most of today's games.

If install a $150 gfx card, then it'll easy exceed both consoles in performance.

Been saying the last 6 months or so that this generation will not last as long as the previous. With graphical improvement will come more 900p 30fps titles.

Now that's not to say that's horrible, but certainly its not the experience anyone was hoping for.

Yep...never said its not for me...but..."at the moment"...I don't have a need for it, at least on my PCs.

My son's PC is the only place Win10 makes sense. That said, it'll probably go on separate drive in case I need to revert him back. Not leaving myself an out is foolish and is more work for me.

Sounds like you're trying to justify your purchase to yourself honestly.

I hate cables just as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to swap out an entire OS just for a wireless XBO controller. My 360 controller works just fine wireless for PC, so I use that.

The only place Win10 makes sense at this point for me is to install it on my son's PC (my old gaming rig) so he can stream.

Other than that, its more trouble than its worth at this point.

Should work with any PC game that supports a 360 controller, which is probably more than non-PC gamers realize.

I don't trust MS and I don't like that Win10 rollback is limited. I'd rather keep my Win7 Ultimate installation vs moving to Win10 so early.

Well, at least they didn't have to wait 6 weeks for a response from Valve. I emailed Valve about a game issue late August, they responded mid Oct.
