Recent Harmonix interview stated that the PS3 will be Wireless and the X360 Guitar will be Wired. The Drum set has extra USB plugs on the base (apparently) But most importantly is that Major Nelson said the update was for the Wireless guitar in Guitar Hero 3 only, No mention of Rock Band.
