I let my PS3 run Folding@Home. I let it complete 20% of one folding process. How cool is it that Stanford can use this data to understand how certain diseases form? I am going to run this application as much as I can. And one day, maybe a fanboy somewhere will be glad the PS3 was around to help rid the world of a disease that may have otherwise done him in.

You sir, are a great humanitarian. But I'm a great humanitarian too. My PS3 runs Folding@Home. I've already purchased an Xbox360 and plan to pick up an Elite. With all the money I'm putting into good ole Bill Gates' pocket, he's going to go around and create more vaccines for the poor kids in Africa. Where can I pick up my Nobel Peace prize? :D

Well look who's back...  Welcome back. :D

The thread eventually had to be locked...after 5 pages.  The ownage was too great for gamespot's servers.

[QUOTE="fatzombiepigeon"][QUOTE="RevenMan"]Stop trying to justify a wasted 600$, you could have just sent the money and you would have helped alot more, or you can just do this on your pc, or you can buy a wii or 360 and use the rest of the money for that cause.hockeyruler12

That;s what I think. I'll just send 600 dollars to St. Judes Children's Hospital, which takes care of ailing children with cancer. I've done my part without a PS3. More than my part. AMAZING.

Yeah but can St. Judes have 6 downloads qued at once unlike the 360? I don't think so

the 360 can have 6 downloads too...

Oh really? I guess I'll man up and admit I was wrong my friend. Thanks for letting me know I was wrong when I was trying to make out a false statement to be true...what was I thinking.

did KeyWii say the 360 couldnt have 6 downloads or something?

sounds like something he would say...

Yes, you missed a great thread earlier today.  KeyWii proclaimed the 360's inablility to queue more than 2 items.

Yeah so folding is nice but your electriciy use or overuse will now help Global Warming dude!!

So when you run this folding can the PS3 download 6 things at once at the same time?
6 things qued for download...

The largest German retailer has a promotional deal where the first 50 people to climb up a wall and throw their Xbox 360's overboard get a brand new PS3.

kcpp2b

How are you allowed to post a thread like this on this forum?

Still not admiting you were wrong btw?

He still hasn't fessed up to the ownage dealt out earlier today.

Oh geez I'm behind here, which are you talking about, I was speaking about when he said the 360 can only que 2 downloads at time time in which he started a thread claiming it is as fact and then didn't apoligize for spreading false truths.

No, that's the one i was referring to.  Now he just makes topics and doesn't respond in them.

Probably there to line up for some quality hardware. It's about time someone from Microsoft got involved in some decent hardware for a change.kutaragism

That's definately not something a cow would say.
