Having worked in IT for several decades, I have never been a fan of Apples proprietry approach. However, their resolute stance against the NSA/encryption back door debacle, placed them much higher in my estimations. Is it possible they are refusing this app on the grounds of data mining concerns?
This genre of game will always elicit marmite comments, even in reviews. If you like it,play it. If you don't, then don't. It's okay to strongly disagree with a reviewers comments, or anothers postings. I would say it's not okay to verbally abuse them through the medium of anonymity, just because you can. That, imho, shows lack of character. This not my type of game and therefore, I won't be buying it. I'd rather watch a movie and not have to bother pressing the buttons to get through it, but that's just me.
@revanxknight: Maybe it's just our definition of what constitutes a 'bug', that is different. See, I understand when you say about becoming 'unstuck' as being your only bug to date. However, while I also agree that is a bug, there are other issues with the game - the ridiculously poor and stuttering frame rates for instance(My main complaint). Now you may regard these as nothing more than poor optimization, that will be patched. I consider it a game bug. Unless of course, you are playing on an Xbox1 X, And it's running very smoothly, because if that's the case, there is something very strange going on with this software. Remember, I don't have any issues with the 'gameplay', it's mediocre at best, but I enjoyed it on the first game, nonetheless. So, if your's is running very smoothly and mine didn't, on the same hardware, doesn't that constitute one hell of a bug?
@revanxknight: I did. And it stinks. Maybe you are more tolerant of bugs than me, but this games moves like treacle from a fridge -barely. I suspect a lot of opinions come down to what you are prepared to put up with. For me, the one aspect of a game I will not tolerate, is poor frame rate. That's because, for me, it removes immersion from the game world. Now, I completely accept, and I am pleased for you, that you are getting on with the game. However, if you are playing on an Xbox one X you are absolutely not, having a glitch free experience, and imho, you are being disingenouis if you claim otherwise.
@XADrokinAEX: I'm pleased your rig run it's okay. Mine doesn't, but it does meet the requirements. And, of course, it runs equally poorly on my Xbox 1 X. Don't think I have a say in the specs for that one. We may disagree, but I hope you enjoy your game.
@Vodoo: Answer to your question: No. No, it doesn't. But to be honest, it doesn't run in the foreground while you are playing it. So, it's pretty fair that way. :)
