If PS3 gamers wanted VF5 online so bad, then maybe they should've bought the game.

More PS3 owners would have bought the game if it had online the day it was released. They shouldn't have to buy a game then hope down the line it gets a huge update like online play.

That post was made on June 10th, therefore if the $200 price drop were to occur, it would've already happened.

4th qtr of 2007 goes all the way to March 2008 I believe. Nice way to own yourself TC.

Both versions might come out next year.

I think you have it confused with the end of fiscal year for 2007 for some companies, like Konami. Q4 2007 is October, November, and December.

Acually I think we should keep it the same with a little adjustment to fit the new scoring system:

AAAA= 10.0

AAA= 9.5, 9.0

AA= 8.5, 8.0

A= 7.5, 7.0

I like this one. I think if a game gets a 9.0, it should be called an AAA game. Like you said, it's the same but changed to fit the new scoring system.

You know if the preview is this good and the 360 is clearly better. Just wait til the final build. So much for the theory that PS3 if the lead platform it would decimate the 360 port.

In GameSpot's preview, they say that 360 version isn't quite there yet with the PS3 version. They pointed out in some ways it is already looking as good and "cleaner", but overall so far it could use some polish. So not everyone thinks the 360 version looks better overall than the PS3 version at this stage in it's development.

Based on what we saw, Virtua Fighter 5 is shaping up to be a solid conversion of the arcade and PlayStation 3 games. The visuals could use some polishing, but already look very close to the PlayStation 3 game.
