linkin_guy is dead on. I know AAA titles are always a topic of conversation on this forum, but man there are so many great games that have received an AA score here that people would miss out on. That goes for every platform.

The fact that games like Crackdown and Saints Row took the ageing GTA III formula and tranformed them to 256-bit graphics and gameplay have sort of let the air out the bag to any nuances that GTAIV may have had planned.

Plain and Simple Rockstar set on the gem they had too long, and gave enough time for competitors to beat them to it.

Rockstar will make damn sure that GTA IV completely destroys Crackdown and Saints Row. Once GTA IV hits, Saints Row 2 will get delayed for a long time, just like what happened with Splinter Cell Conviction when the gameplay footage of MGS4 first appeared.

I will have to buy a 360 eventually but MGS4 would convince me to buy it straight away
