Yeah it is set in Italy and France but played only in the US, nobody here cares much about racing and if they did they’d go real carting there are tons of them here in Europe and v cheap or at least arcades.
So Xbox is only good to keep other console prices in check ?
I am from Europe (Je peux te le dire en Français - und auf Deutsch auch - öffne deine augen) Playstation has always offered a variety of game styles and people always received it very well since the mid 90s. Japanese games offered strictly over Playstation always rank top in European market also since the mid 90s, titles like one piece, Starocean, Final Fatansy and many more were and still are always sales chart toppers. What the Italian guy says is true, a lot here felt Xbox was like an arcade shooting console where you only shoot aliens and each other thats why in some stores here in Europe they don't sell them anymore because they don't sell. 80% Japanese games never made it to Europe LOL ??? where did you get this BS from ??
Sony's Uncharted series for example, the Infamous series the Yakuza series there are some that made a considerable commercial success and a solid fanbase. what am trying to say is Sony & Nintendo have been tested and they passed their tests with customers and that's why they have a huge following, unlike MS and as much as I hate saying it, they realized they couldn't compete with Sony & Nintendo first party offerings so they turned the attention 360 degrees to focus on multiplat visual qualities and on-line features that saw their hardware sales in decline compared to the others. Now you/MS have to deal with 2 factors, 1 is what you mentioned above they have new studios which have been dormant lately and they could well be working on a project or 2 but, are these projects exclusive to MS ? are they actually a good quality to compete with whats on offer in the exclusive market by others ? and 2. After the monumental success of Mario Maker, Zelda, God of War, Marvel's Spiderman, the last of us, bloodborne, pokemon etc what can MS put on the table exclusive to their platform to lure away consumers to their side when just the mere mention of a new installment to any of these games become an instant headline in the world gaming community ?
You know for fact more people will go out and buy a sequel to excellent, very well received commercial hits such as Zelda, HZD, GOW, Super M, Super Smah Bros, Marvel's SM and so on. This is ....... what I mean by a gap created as MS didn't really care much for these nor about their quality whenever they had any. Of course people care if a console has/had exclusives this is what makes it special/unique its a marketing technique and it showed in current generation hardware sales charts..... worldwide.
Its hopeless, and even if they did focus on SP games Sony and Nintendo are way ahead with these and have established a very strong following through their offerings over the last 5 years or so.
No Its isn't going to PC, its published by SIE besides the game is built on Decima engine, an engine owned by Sony and no game built on this engine ever hit PC (Horizon Zero Dawn, Until Dawn, Killzone etc) Sony financed the development of the game and its part of their strategy to sell hardware. Its is a 100% PS Exclusive.
I think its about how prepared Sony was to talk about PS5 same way MS brought up Scarlet. If there isn't much to say at this stage and they would have known MS would present Scarlet then it makes sense for them not to turn up altogether. They are (Sony) not known for giving competition even an inch.
They just sat back home, save cash and let other parties go pay E3 and show games that are dropping on PlayStation. As for proving anything, well, have to admit they have nothing left to prove this generation. I think Sony understood the formula that made them successful all throughout this generation and they're not slowing down - drop a lot of money on first party studios get 2-3 great exclusives a year - great gameplay, great graphics, great story/narrative and emotionally connect gamers to characters of these games and repeat. Easy.
