they use everyone that ever posted on a forum or had an account on anything related to EA now matter how old the game to give you an origin account.

I was an origin user before i even knew i ever signed up for it, just to check my stats on BF3.

Besides that i'll never use Origin, it has no place on my PC. As a competitor to steam Origin is a joke, their userbase is 1% active when looking at purchases
