Nice to see GameSpot running glorified ads for Activision Blizzard. Lootboxes = gambling, and I don't understand how Activision Blizzard get's away with it in their full price games, now that the rest of the industry is backtracking on it.
I'm pretty sure there would've been a whole lot of men/boys crying to their mommies if all the main characters in AC Unity were women; however, when someone points out the fact that all the characters in AC Unity are male, the same people don't see any reason at all to question that fact. That's something called entitlement.
Just because someone points out the fact that all the characters are white males who look very similar (and find that funny and ironic, given the title), doesn't mean they have any white knight/SJW/PC-agenda, it may just be that they are interested in seing their favorite medium grow up, become more creative and tell more stories. And if they have a political agenda? Good on them for actually standing for something and wishing to see the world be more inclusive.
Also, just because someone had a certain creative vision, doesn't mean it's exempt from criticism. How else would a medium evovle?
People playing the realism/historical-accuracy card when defending Ubisoft's lazy decisions and lack of creativity, should do some research.
