There are so many ignorant comments here, but that is to be expected I guess. Anyway, a very good article Carolyn. It is articles like these that helps us understand the world around us better.
People who's got a problem with this, obviously has some kind of problem with themselves. I'm not saying you're a closet case, it's more likely that you're ignorant and/or stupid. Use your brain to reflect on life rather than spreading blind hate.
The first system I played on was the Videopac G7000/Odyssey 2, and my favorite game was K.C.'s Krazy Chase! XD But the system that got me really hooked was the NES and early favorites were Rygar, Zelda 2 and Super Mario Bros. It was so much fun playing on the NES with friends. I had two friends who had like 100+ games, we would visit them as often as we could, lol. We used to trade games as well, I still to this day regret trading Ufouria for Super Mario Bros 2 and Star Wars, Ufouria was so awesome. A couple of my friends also had Sega Master System, I remember playing Alex Kidd, Michael Jackson Moonwalker and Sonic. Commodore was also lots of fun, I had friends who had the one with tapes (loading, syntax error, lol) and others who had the floppy disc add-on or whatever. We used to play Ikari Warriors and random crappy porn games, lol. A geek friend of ours had several Amigas and we played Lemmings a lot, and a platform game with a guy who could get his a$$ set on fire and subsequently fly up in the sky, we lol'd so much. The SNES was awesome, but I was totally addicted to fighting games like Street Fighter 2 and Final Fight, so I didn't really try out that many games. But I played several platformers like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and Aladdin, and other random faves were Star Fox and Lillehammer '94 (lol).
Uhm, I thought the 3DS was a new Nintendo handheld, not just a new version of the DS. It will however be compatible with DS games. But the new handheld will be able to produce better graphics, have a different control scheme and 3D.
