The Packers were lucky to recover from those early mistakes.sfgiantsfan8291

Wait... you have to be kidding me. Lucky? Absolutely not. After giving up 14 points in the first 4 minutes of the game the Packers outscored Seattle 42-6. After those two early fumbles Ryan Grant ran for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brett Favre threw 3 TD's and had a 137.6 passer rating. The Packers gained 408 yards on offense, Seattle only managed 200. Luck is the wrong word for this game, total domination is how I would describe it.

Just watched the Packers press conferences on TV, and Favre has indicated he wants to play another season in Green Bay.

How come we can only rate games in multiples of .5 now? For example, you can't rate a game a 7.8 it has to be an 8.0. Why the change, and is it possible to make it possible to rate games this way again?

Haha, OSU did the same thing they did last year. Come storming out of the gates then lie down and get beaten bad.

Touchdown OSU 7-0. That was easy.

[QUOTE="bgres077"]I don't like the fact that the National Championship, and for the matter, all bowl games are played in the south. It gives the southern teams (Read: SEC, Big 12) an advantage over the northern teams (Read: Big Ten). The Championship is basically a home game for LSU, how is that a "neutral site"?geaux321

Because that's where the bowl games started off, in the South because of the weather issue. Nobody wants to travel up North in the harsh winter and get potentially stuck up there. Please feel free to change tradition at your will.

There's plenty of domes up north, and I know it's never going to change, it's just not exactly fair that the "neutral" site's are always in the south. There is clearly an advantage for the southern teams come bowl season.
