My level went up but not to where I was originally ? I was at like level 29 and now I am at level 7 from level 6 ? Was there an error of where i was ? I mean I am going to get my level 29 back right ? Can anyone help me > ? ThanksLexLas
Eh, not that I'm complaining about this or anything, but I'm an entire level higher than I was before the level 6 issue happened. I'm pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen.-Etna
This fix also accounted for some lost days, so you may have gained more than just getting back to where you were...
I'm seeing all of your user levels as they should be. It may take a while for the various caches fully clear. You can always try a shift+refresh on your profile page...
All the levels should be fixed now (give or take a little). And (!!!) levels will continue to advance properly after today as well.
Our apologies to all for the inconvenience, we know a lot of you take the levels very seriously, and we really do appreciate how much you care. It's one of the main things that makes working for GameSpot so much fun.
You may still see Level 6 in the forums for a bit as it takes a little while for the caches to clear, but your profiles pages should be correct now. If you have any questions, I'll be watching this topic.
As mentioned, We are working on getting the levels back up. For tonight, everyone will be set to "The Super Spy" (level 6) and then should be repaired tomorrow.
Levels are currently "reset" for a lot of people (though not all), we're working on fixing them all up tootsweet.
I'm a GS Dev, so feel free to throw some anger at me, but know that we are working on it, and that I am very very sorry for any trouble this might have caused.
In firefox there's a preference under javascript advanced preferences -> allow javascript to move or resize windows
is that enabled or disabled?
The live show window needds to resize itself based on your screen resolution and your chosen streaming quality, etc. if you're not letting it resize, this might be the issue. As a followup, does the same happen to you in IE?
