[QUOTE="MindFreeze"][QUOTE="Amnesiac23"]What is with religious people shoving their religion down peoples throats?-_Rain_-
Their own insecurities with a finite life and their belief of having the 'truth'. If I had the truth, I'd want people to know it. Wouldn't you? Or are you anti-knowledge?
Yep. The thing is, they (at least Christians) truly BELIEVE that you will go to Hell if you don't believe in what they do. They're not trying to be jerks. They think they are helping you. Whether or not Christianity is true I'd rather not debate.
Teenagers have always been stupid. It's simply a natural part their growth. It's just that these days it's easier for them to show everyone how stupid they are. I, as a teenager, embrace the last years of my life where I can be immature and stupid without people being suprised.

I have an old Windows 2000 computer and I'm thinking about getting a new FPS for it. (I already own Doom, Half Life, and all Half Life expansions) So I've come up with these two, but I'm having trouble deciding. I like the old, old school charm of Dark Forces. (Nice sprite art and poor quality music has a nice charm) But I don't know if Quake II is the better quality game overall. Please note that I'm judging these based on single player only.
Freddie Mac suffered hard from the subprime mortgage crisis last year, and the US government took over all of their operations in September 2008. He was the CEO when it happened... I don't think there's much room left for conspiracy theories. It's sad that he hung himself in his own home... I feel for his family.Hungry_bunny
That's what you think. Why did he kill himself? Maybe because he knew something horrible was about to happen. The apocalypse. Quick! We must travel around the world and find all the clues in order to stop it!
The end of American History X, the end of Forrest Gump, when the dog died in I am Legend, the end of Gladiator, most of Requiem for a Dream, and basically everything that happens to River in Serenity.lobodob
The thing about Requiem for a Dream is that it isn't a "Aww that's sad" kind of sad. It's a kick in the nuts, soul crushing, hopeless, no light at the end of the tunnel kind of sad. I think the someone equated plot/characters to "Skydiving without a parachute, and the movie ends ten minutes after you hit the ground."
... To me its something wrong with our culture along with reality shows.. That self important smugness for really doing NOTHING but being born with certain attributes that are pleasing to the eyes.. I mean we worship people like Paris Hilton who is really famous for nothing.sSubZerOo
We worship people like Perez Hilton who are famous for talking about people who are famous for nothing. I don't think we're anywhere near the bottom of the rabbit hole of stupidity the general public can sink to.
