1, 6 and 3 are really the only ones I see that still hold true. Let's go over them. 1. Consoles are definitely easier to set up on a HDTV then a PC. Mainly because a PC has a lot more wires. Most PC gamers are going to keep their PC connected to a HDTV. Game console stay connected to HDTV for the life of the console. 3. Consoles seem to have more games that EVERYONE wants to play. They also have quirky games that more gamers want to play like Persona, Catherine, Heavy Rain, etc... Popular console gamers are more hyped for the public then PC games. Last PC game I've seen hyped was SimCity. 6. Console games are definitely easier and more accessible to casual and newcomer gamers. That's a fact. If you gave a new gamer a PC & game and a game console & game, and told them to load the game up and play, I think it would be much easier doing it on a game console. As for the other items. 2. You have laptops and IoS which are basically portable PC's. So you can take PC gaming with you. 4. Consoles are still a little cheaper overall, but not that much. You can still get a decent PC for $500-$600 (without a monitor of course). 5. Console game have a set performance. If it's bad, it's going to always be that way. With PC if the performance is bad, it can be configured to be better. It really depends on the PC hardware. It can be consistent. 7. It depends. PC can do split screen with 2 monitors side by side. Just run the game on a LAN and everyone can play on their own PC or laptop. 8. I don't really care about DOTA 2 or 3. I don't even have time to touch that beast. lol pc is equal vga cable to hdtv weeee keyboard and mouse and powercord woohoo
