I keep seeing all of these posts from people who say they are having problems with the game freezing, famerate problems, or screen tearing. I bought this game the day it came out and have logged 20+ hours with no problems. I am wondering how many people out there are havingissues with this game, and how many are like me with no problems.
Everyone is so negative about Assissin's Creed, I just wanted to post and say that I bought it the day it came out have almost 30 hours logged into the game and have had no problems at all. It is an awesome game and has worked great on my PS3. I have not had any freezing,framerate, or screen tearing issues. I don't know if I just got lucky, or maybe there are alot of people out there like me who have this game and it works fine for them. When a game works great for someone they don't go on forums and tell everyone about how bug free the game is, while the same person will go and make 10 posts about a game that is not working. I think that it is just a vey vocal minority of people who are having issues with this game.
I am super stoked for Uncharted, but the Gamestop where I preordered as said they will probably not have it in until tomorrow. Oh well, more time to work on Assassin's Creed.
We early adopters should not be entitled to anything. I knew when I bought my PS3 in Nov. 2006 that the price would go down eventually. I am just stoked that the price is now low enough so that hopefully more of my friends will buy one so that I can play online with more people I know.
Mine froze up just recently when I was playing Madden 08 and clicked on the franchise room. It locked up and none of the buttons would do anything. I turned it off and back on and it was fine.
I have it Vertical, mainly for space reasons, but I have noticed that it feels cooler now. I was also worried about stability, so I boughta vertical stand. I also think it looks cooler, butthat is probably becausemy shelf is kind of high up and I can see it better that way.
I was pretty ticked when I heard VF5 on XBOX was going to have online multiplayer. I bought it for PS3 and played the heck out of single player mode, but none of my friends were into VF so I gave up playing it. It sucks to have a fighting game and no one to fight. Good thing Gamestop has a trade 2 used PS3 games for a new one deal, it paid for 1/2 of NGS which is a great game.
I would reccomend renting it first. I bought it and was not that impressed. It definitely has some framerate issues, I thought the story was pretty lame, and not as scary as I was hoping. The only thing I really liked about it was the good enemy AI. If you just want a good FPS I would recomend RFOM, COD, or The Darkness, which I just bought yesterday and have already put in as much or more time than I put into FEAR.
