[QUOTE="Jagged3dge"]

[QUOTE="SpArKs424"]Na armor lock is fine . it actually takes skill and timing to use .

SpArKs424

Your kidding right?

It allows them to beat down and then go into armor lock, so that when you beat them down again it hurts you. After that they get out and beat you down again. Its unfair, especially if the kids have it mastered.

You should be unable to attack for a few seconds...and it regenerates life? come on now.

dude dont go up to them in armor lock i know what you mean it happens to me alot in swordbase in the room that leads to the vent shaft . but when they go down jump back throw a couple nades .

But if you have a shotgun (a close range weapon) and you shoot and meele right after (since it doesn't always kill in one shot), and as you lunge he goes into armour lock.While you recover from meeleing (time between you can shoot again) the player can exit armour lock, causing you to lose your sheilds and melle you right away killing you in an instant.

i have not played the multiplayer on this game for around 6 months now maybe more, but i found out yesterday that the All Fronts Collection was reduced to 400msp, great deal i thought, so i download it when i get in from work this afternoon

i then tried to find a multiplayer match, i searched for a little over 40minutes before i gave up and it only managed to pair me with one other player in that entire time

so is the multiplayer dead or was this just some kind of freak occurrence?

I think your difficulty finding matches may have to due with the country you live in and the recent title update (#6) that took effect late May. With the new title update I believe that the game now searches for a host and players that live nearby in an attempt to produce less laggy matches (a problem that has plagued Gears of War 2 for the majority of its release), but because most players are from the U.S. and not the UK, it takes much longer to find a suitable host.

It really sucks since I live in Canada and face the same problem, however, I have barely gotten any laggy matches, something I used ot get all the time.

I thought it was kinda dull. The narrator seems to be talking about something completely unrelated to whats happening to the game. Then the game plays like the biggest rip off of God of War since Dante's Inferno. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the game introduced something new, but as it is it just rides on the success of God of War. Or at least thats what it seems like from the demo. I didn't even finish it.vashkey

I agree with the part about the narration, it was really dull and unnecessary. However, I haven't played God of War or Dante's Inferno, so the gameplay of the demo didn't feel too familiar to me that it became monotonous.

[QUOTE="Mr-Gingersnaps"]

haha this made my day. i guy so pissed off he wants to piss off more people. thank you sir, i value your opinion, i just have a different one.

Mr-Gingersnaps

Please, humor me. Tell me what I said that was wrong?

I will wait patiently, because I have only stated the facts.

i didn't say you were wrong at all. i said that i just had a different opinion, ive never had it run that low for me before and ive played through it. I don't doubt that it happened. I think the game is over rated but i think it's fun and well made.

Had you simply said "thank you sir, i value your opinion, i just have a different one." then you would have simply said that you have a differing opinion. However, you said that this guy is pissed and just wants others to get pissed to.

1.) Halo CE

2.) Halo 2

3.) Halo Reach

4.) Halo 3

5.) Halo 3: ODST

I don't get all the hate for Halo 2 and the Arbiter, I personally found the Elite side of the Halo story pretty intresting, and was quite dissapointed when Halo 3 essentially abandoned it. Halo CE still remains my favourite, since despite it's repetitive level design (backtracking) the game still plays great today. Plus if the original Halo's campagn wasn't great, the series never would have made such a large impact (as it didn't have Xbox live matchmaking). Halo Reach felt like a let-down to me. Although I enjoy the new gameplay additions, and the great/fun levels, I don't really feel invested into the characters or story, and didn't really care for their fate. Halo 3 was just alright, and Halo 3:ODST felt really lackluster in terms of overall story and character developement (similar to Halo Reach but to a greater extent).

The maps suck, so I hope MP wasn't the main focus.tehsystemwarior
I totally agree with you. I really love what Bungie did with the hit detection, as I now feel that a large majority of my shots are actual hitting, but the multiplayer maps are by far the worst yet.

AVGN is awesome.

And to answer your question, there is still quite a strong community that exsist, although it's not as populated as your huge retail shooters such as Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare/WAW/Modern Warfare 2, etc.

Has nobody even thought of mentioning Shenmue?!?!? I would gladly shell out a full retail price of $60 for that game.
