I see. Well that does suck. Have you tried any small chapels?
soulless4now
We didn't want to have to go that formal, with the planning and cost of renting a chapel. There is one nearby that I'd be okay with but 1. it's booked apparently (no surprise, people plan this stuff way in advance) and 2. it's $500+ to rent it. And it's a LITTLE chapel.
I'm not sure what I would like to have if I ever got married. Would be up to the wife. >.> Prob a medium sized wedding so more gifts for us. :P Do you guys have a date set yet or any idea when you are going to have it?ExoticAnimal
That seems to be the way, the guys go along with whatever the women want. :P And that's fine if you truly don't know what you'd like. I think registries are tacky, but no offense! It's not like newlyweds couldn't use the help furnishing their home (usually), I just hate the idea. We're tying teh knot on Sept. 1st.Dun dun DUN.
Have you thought about maybe getting hitched in some other part of the state ?
soulless4now
It's hard because we live 3 hours away from my family. His whole family lives in another state. We're trying not to inconvenience anyone more than necessary.
Oh I see. Good luck with that then. Only 12 people? :o Don't want a big wedding?ExoticAnimal
No, the smaller the better. I hate everything about planning a wedding.
I'm boring. If I got married I'd save my own and finance a house with the weird chick that wants to marry me >.>Fightingfan
Nothing wrong with boring, you've got the right idea. We aren't in any position to purchase a house nor will we be soon, so we're spending a bit on the honeymoon (I in particular love to travel). The wedding itself will have 12 people.
