I dont know much about prenups, but are there clauses where if the person with the wealth abuses or hurts the other person, the other person gets something in the divorce? I'm assuming that not all prenups are black and white.

Marriages dont necessarily deserve trust either. There are so many divorces now, people change and things happen. Assuming you live to like 60-70 years old on average and get married in your twenties or early thirties, that's half your life you are committing to someone you've known for only a couple of years. It's ridiculous to assume people wont change and that you truly know how everybody will act in unforseen circumstances. The person you fell in love with may not be the same person later on in life, and sometimes you want to protect your money if it's large in quanitity.

One that i just thought of that's a complete standalone and exists in a separate universe is Kingdom Come. It is one of my favorites. The art style is very different though, my friend described it as very "noire-ish." It has a more realistic look to it, with an unique art style. The story was superb imo, and i personally think it's one of the best comic books i've read (not that i've read that many though :P )

The story is basically about how the world has turned its back on the more morally strict super heroes like Superman and his code of "no killing unless the only option." However, the new brand of super heroes and super villains are all in it only for the excitement and recognition. The story starts with the killing of parasite which causes a chain reaction that creates a nuclear explosion in the middle of the US. This prompts the retired old superheroes to come back into action, and try to restore order, but the new generation doesnt want to submit. Add in some conspiracies and a little bit of craziness, and it's a pretty good comic book.

yeah, this is the best batman book of the new 52 (not counting morrison's inc). just don't get the following story, death of the family, lol...it's actually the type of comic that's so bad it's good, and it helps that the art is outstanding

I kind of read spoilers on accident one one thing that will happen, but I really wanted to get it.

The thing i hate about comic books for DC (and probably marvel but i dont follow marvel) is that there are so many different arcs that crossover, I dont know what to get :P I want to branch out to more than just batman, but it's just too expensive and I have no idea where to start, even with the relaunch.

BTW, i thought Death of the family got great reviews? I dont collect issue by issue, since i go through them fast and I enjoy getting through a story arc in one sitting, but there are like 4 series all with the title "death of the family." There's batman, batman and robin, nightwing, batgirl :P is it necessary to get all of them to get the story? Should I get the collection Joker:Death of the family, or just the two individaul series i follow?

I dont read too much comic books but i love the DC universe. Here are some that i really liked:

Salvation run- its about all the villains getting sent to a foreign planet to live their life away from human society (this one is more of a hit or miss so check out the premise before you decide to get it)

52 (the one named 52, it has 4 volumes and it stars a bunch of B-grade heroes but has a good story imo. Booster gold is awesome)

Batman: Hush- a pretty long but cool batman arc

Batman and and robin Volume 2 (the pearl) of the New 52. For some reason, I just got it and I love it. I just love Damian's character and the way he interacts with all the batman heroes.

Also, do you like the animated movies? I'd recommend batman under the red hood and all star superman. I've heard their comic book versions are even better but I didnt really care to reread the story.

I feel like if it is done right, then it's fine. I'm gonna use game of thrones for example. There are certain sex scenes that actually enhance the story and others that are irrelevant.

MINOR SPOILERS I GUESS:

When daenyris and drago do it the first time and the second time, it really helped characterize their relationship. However, the lesbian scene where the maid helps her "find out" how to be good at sex was pretty useless. She could have easily just told her.

The scene where theon is tortured and had sex with (though sort of unneedlessly long), it served a purpose when it was interrupted by his captor to show how cruel the captor can be (who's name i forget but will always bethat guy from the show "misfits" to me)

however, other scenes like some of the brothel scenes with the mayor from the wire, seemed kind of pointless.

truthfully i havent used mine in two months but i dont regret getting it all. Its kind of weird. I keep buying games, but i seem to find most games boring. I guess im just always hoping the next one will be fun. This happened to me with my ps3 (which i got after the slim price cut happened), I got it thinking i'd get to finally play some games i wanted to for a couple of years. Ended up borrowing mgs 4 and getting bored of it within an hour. Tried uncharted, and couldnt get past the first level because of how boring i found it. I got through half of valkyria chronicles, which is pretty good for me. Other than that, the only games i have on my ps3 are rock band and wwe13, which i could have gotten for my 360 (but i dont ever want to get anything for my 360 cause it is faulty as hell).

im coming to the realization that I hate games, but they're still more fun than other hobbies i could pick up :'(

anyway, i played new super mario bros U with my friend and that was a blast. I love nintendo land and played that quite a bit. I also got injustice. Just waiting for super smash and mario kart.

I think if america really NEEDED more animated drama, some would have been produced by now, but the general public seems fine without it. I really dont see the advantage of animated dramas vs real dramas besides being cheaper to make and just personal pressence. I feel like if america really wanted animated dramas that much, some company would have tried to cash in on it by now.

I'm both extremely excited and nervous about this announcement. I dont think the two of them should go 1on1 in a fight. That stuff barely works in the cartoons/comics (i'm talking about what happens in batman: hush (a comic book) and the dark knight returns part 2 dvd because those are the only two times i've really seen them fight) and I just dont see it working in a live action movie.

However, if it were more of a contentious relationship that results in a light tussle, i'd be for it. I know this movie probably won't be very deep because it might be tailored to be just a summer action movie that lives off brand recognition, but if they do make it more meaningful, it would be great if they focus on superman's uncompromising morality and optimisitc view  being an outsider and a god looking down on the people vs batman's grounded cynacism being one of the people fighting his way up through the drain of society.

And maybe, a little ironically, superman grew up in a small, homey village learning the values of the everyday man while batman grew up isolated as a part of the tip of the societal pyramid being one of the riches and most priveleged people on the planet.
