Well, I just purchased the LCD topgun that you mentioned about a week or two ago and I was wondering ifthe AV adaptorwas something required to play light gun games. I got the gun because I have an HDTV and I figured the gun would come with everything I need, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I missed. The gun hasn't come in yet so I haven't hooked anything up and just wanted to know if I would need to pick one up.
I was wondering if the Frequency of Operation has something to do with the compatability problems. In the manual for my tv it says it has a frequency of operation of 60Hz. I'm reading about problems with 100Hz tvs. Would most guns still not work or does that make a difference?
Will I be able to use a Guncon or other light gun on my DLP that supports 480i/p, as well as 720i/p, and 1080i? I keep hearing about light guns not working on HDTVs. My tv supports SD signals so I'm wondering if I'd be able to play light gun games on it. My tv is a Samsung DLP and it's about a year old.
I have heard that the guncon as well as all the other light guns do not work on HDTVs. Now, my tv does 480i/p, 720i/p, and 1080i. Would I be able to use a light gun on my tv? It is a DLP tv and it supports SD resolution. Also, is the main difference between Guncon and Guncon 2 force feedback? I thought I read the Guncon 2 has it. I would really appreciate some help if anyone knows. Thanks.
I've heard that the guncon does not work on plasma or lcd tvs. Does the guncon also not work on DLP tvs? Are there light guns that work on HDTVs? Also, is the original guncon compatible with say, time crisis II and other ps2 light gun shooters or doI need the guncon 2?
