Boise and Fresno could be good members of the Pac-10, they aren't as bad as Washington St. is now.

IMO, these 2 teams do not make sense. First off Fresno is a Cal State Uni (CSU) school, not a University of Cal (UC). CSUs don't have the academics that UC schools have (No way the PAC-10 puts a CSU school in with the UC). Second Boise doesn't have the academics either. Boise has a decent athletic program, but it's not PAC-10 caliber (other than football and wrestling). Boise has shown if you give them money, they will build up the university overall (academics and athletics). I believe that is one of their biggest assets and maybe this (#1 non-AQ in merch sales). Both teams are in small time media markets.
A better fit might be Utah and BYU or Colorado. Utah is almost a given at this point. BYU has the "we don't play on sunday" issue. Personally, I think that shouldn't hurt BYU, but it probably will in the end. It seems to me that the PAC-10 would only take Colorado for their academics. Their athletics was good, but not anymore.
There might be some dark horses out there. How about Nevada and UNLV? They just about have most of the criteria the PAC-10 looks for; in-state rivalry, good academics, west of the rockies.
It was a joke. A horrible, horrible joke. We have a blue field, now there is a red field. Red, _____, and Blue. See where I'm going with this?sith_acolyte15
I see. I am suprised I didn't pick that up. I love stupid humor.
This begs the question; who's gonna get a white field now?sith_acolyte15
A white field? Why would you want one of those? It would be an disadvantage to the home team. The visiting team would blend into the field. And people skiing and snowboarding would mistake it for snow and crash into it.
Its been confirmed. USC gets Monte Kiffen too of course. Latest has Norm Chow leaving UCLA for USC as well. CommanderShiro
Chow leaving UCLA would be a bad move. UCLA might suck, but they won't have any sanctions (USC will get them eventually).

Great jab by Mark Sanchex about Pete Carroll going to the NFL.
[QUOTE="sfgiantsfan8291"]I can not stick up for the Big Ten, even with my affiliation with Michigan. I will give OSU some credit for beating Oregon, who I thought was decent. But GT, LSU, and Miami were clearly overrated teams. The Big Ten may have won the games, but I have yet to see them pull it off recently against someone worthy.

I just think we need to see a Big Ten bowl win over an SEC opponent in a BCS bowl game
Even though Sith did mention that Utah proved that the SEC is not unbeatable in the big BCS bowls. But victories from any conference againist the SEC in BCS bowls are few and far between
It is funny that Sith mentioned Utah proving that the SEC got beat in a BCS bowl game, because I do not even remember the game at all
I will be honest with you guys, my interest in College Football has waned and I just do not get into watching it that much anymore. I have enjoyed football in the NFL much better the last few years
The Utah game was last year in the Sugar Bowl againist Alabama.
