Like the above poster said the only thing you can do is if your like me and your SDTV has component input then use that.

Theres no way to magically enhance the graphics on an SDTV though.

480p is a hell of a lot worse than I thought then...

I have a TV capable of 480p which I use for my 360 and was wondering what the equivalent of 480p would be in computer resolution terms? The reason Im asking is because a while back I bought Oblivion for my computer but I didn't get much from the game because of the constant stutter etc. so I was thinking of getting it on my 360 if itwon't look to bad. Also does anyone play Oblivion on an SD or 480p tv and if so how does it look?

I know you can download trials for most if not all games but was wondering what games are completely free.

No, we have milk stations...they are kind of like service stations but instead of having fuel pumps they have cows and you just bring a bottle and self serve.

Are you using an HDTV?

And yes, there's a huge difference from 480p to 720p. You get a bigger, tighter image with way more detail. I think 720p looks better than 1080i however.

No its not a HDTV I dont think but it does Have 6 Slots in the back and supports component cables.

I got a 360 and also just (today) got a new tv.

The Tv Supports component cables and when I plugged the 6 cables into the back of the tv the 360 came on and yes i saw an improvement over my old tv.

One question though, Im not exactly sure if it is set on 480p for a few reasons. I cant actually set the switch to HDTV on the compnent cable itself and I cant choose 480p from the options. Im quite confused about this as there is quitea big difference on this tv over my old tv.

One more question. How big, from your experiences, is the difference between 480i and 480p.

Also how much better will the picture become if I upgrade (not thatI can afford to...) to 720p, 1080I or P.
