so you're unable to admit you've been to quick to make a comment, so you're just going to start over and reply again to a previous comment of mine.
he's one man! putting a patch out costs 40000 bucks. he can't pay that.
get your facts straight.
you know what? whatever, you're just a child who can't even fathom how QA works, doesn't know about patch costs, Fish's legal problems and family issues and just the general process of game development. speaking with someone so dogmatic serves no purpose.
not true. the bug was there before, but wasn't discovered yet.
do you have no idea how the industry works? there will always be bugs, unless you hire 2 million gametesters who play the game for a month, which would cost you billions in wages. that's the only way you could simulate how it will be when it's released. a small team of gametesters and QA can never find everything.
you're using the reasoning of a child. yes, it's not perfect, that's because it can't be, unless you want every game to be delayed a couple of years extra just to test them a bit more and i'll guarantee you that even then there'll be bugs left.
i don't know. i know he's not exactly a shining saint, but i sort of feel like i understand where he's coming from.
he slaves for years on this project that will define him in the industry, he puts out a well-received trailer and suddenly he gets pestered by fans and interviewers when it's coming out. i can see why it can be very stressful that way. since he's alone, he has to shoulder all the criticism. working alone can be terrible, especially if you're trying to get your first game published all on your own.
not to mention when microsoft wouldn't let him patch a gamebreaking bug, which was turning people away from buying the game. it must've been a terrible feeling knowing he's losing buyers just because he doesn't have the money to pay the fee, which he'd have gotten by those lost buyers buying the game.
i'm not saying he's right, but i don't believe he should be immediately judged as a crybaby without hearing his full story.
