@olddadgamer: I doubt about "canonically" in a game of choice...

@zalos: Agree with everything except this point: "to a run-of-the-mill protagonist like Joel"

Joel is a way more complex person than most people try to define. His actions are basic and "run-of-the-mill", but everything else inside him have layers of emotions, trauma, grief that really should be respected.

@oldmanmadmax: Interesting post...as an white men myself, with 2 sons and a loving wife... I can't disagree more with what you are saying.

Geralt is my obvious first choice, and I agree that walking in his shoes is way easier to provide immersion. But that immersion only works when applying the choices that fit in my moral values.

Ciri looks great in the trailer, older, confident, strong and focused. All traits are perfect for immersion.

"I don't want to play a character that's flirting with dudes."

Then don't... why would you have to? I'm pretty sure you would be able to choose love interests, or put them aside.

On my side... Let me just say that in my playthrough Ciri will be probably gay... LOLOLOL

@elderlord99: Yes it sold less. But it sold well nevertheless. And the initial criticism diluted with time. People who didn't play the game because of "youtubers" reviews played and mostly like (some really loved it) the game.

So as always I will do what I always do, wait for the game to be available, play it, and then have an opinion. No more biased reviews and blatant lies. about people trying to make a few bucks...
