Hahahahahaha FFVII is the most overrated game of all time. Got good scores just cause of some fancy graphics in some of the cutscenes. The biggest example of no attention to detail and huge amount of scripted content to make up for derivative gameplay.

Story isn't really very necessary. A good story can help a game, but I think often times, too much effort is put into a story to hide lack of gameplay.

For shooters, if the game is good enough you don't need a much better story then "OMG we totally have to kill all the badguys!"

It is in the bubble of system wars. In the real world, it's a mediocre game which didnt impress newcomers and vastly disappointed fans of the original.

Heck, MGSIV is only a AAAA in system wars.

I am almost ashamed to say I put close to 100 hours in Oblivion.

Orange box was great two. Played through HL2 and both episodes 3 times.

I mostly just play single player stuff, and those were my favorites.

I doubt Blu-ray will be the next big thing. I think optical stuff will be on the way out before BR gets widespread.

Digital distribution will go one way or another. Downloading a movie to a thumb drive from a kiosk at a store will be doable in the near future I bet. DD doesn't just have to be from an internet connection.
