and im surpirsed i havent seen the Red Arremer from ghouls and ghosts mentioned here.

how about raziel the vampire/wraith from soul reaver? I think the only merchant that could top McDonald would be Tingle from Legend of Zelda.

for enemies im also thinking of the pain elemental from doom 2, except instead of lost souls he spits out medusa heads or ectoplasms, which would make it that much more of an annoying enemy. pinky demons could also make tough enemies because they run fast for their size and have a deadly melee attack.

and how about Sam and Max? they would be funny as hell and would actually be believable considering they have already been sent to the moon, mount olympus, and various dimensions.

and finally i think BB Hood is a much better character than morrigan, sure morrigan is...easier on the eyes but BB is funnier and cooler, but hey everyone has their own faves.

The guy from Katamari. to see him rolling Legion and adding new bodies as you knock them off would be hysterical.

im trying to decide between B.B. Hood from darkstalkers as a playable character/boss because she is just awesome and would fit in perfectly because she hunts monsters and Stubbs the zombie would make a cool boss because he could use a fart attack, summon weaker zombies and roll his head at you.

how about drac and death vs. soma and alucard?

On soma vs alucard its hard to say. alucard has more expierence and has beaten dracula before but if soma has been killing monsters before the fight he would have alot more attack variety so its hard to say...maybe a draw? then again soma doesnt have to throw a healing item five feet in front of him to heal.

For those who dont know Roguelike games are simplifed action roleplaying games with a 2d topdown perspective where you name your character, pick a class, then enter a dugeon with randomly spawing monsters and hack and slash your way through

This is probably the best roguelike out there, its got nice colorful graphics, an amazing soundtrack (which alone is actually worth the dl) and classes inspired by the belmonts, alucard, cornell, etc. the only thing i dont like is the pretty high level of diffculty, so far ive only been able to level up once before being killed.

EDIT: it is definatly not a homebrew or ROM because you dont need any emulator, its just a dos executable.

yea if you loved DoS and havent played AoS, AoS should be your next stop. Otherwise id go with Portarit.
