Halloween is one of my favourite times of year but unfortunately it does get ruined every year by people using it as a way to get money!!!! I mean come on going trick or treating a month before the day is annoying. When I was a kid I looked forward to trick or treatin, getting my costume ready, making a plan of action so to speak and discussin pumpkin carvin with my friends at school, but nowadays that stuff never seems to matter its always "my costumes the best because i spent X amount of moneyand it looks realistic" well realistic costumes are good but its not about how much money you spend on buying one its about the fun of making it, trial and error, and making a costume thats personal to you.

Also why is it all about money aswell? I mean sweets when I was a kid was perfect. The odd person gave you the odd 2p or 10 p but nothin majour now if they dont get money then you get your house egged, or at least thats what happened to me one year as I said people seem to ruin halloween for me. Also I took my little girl last year and some idiots decided it was fun to try and hit her pushchair, at the time she was 5 months old and was enjoyin all the sights of pupkins and the scary noises.

Who would do that????When I take my brothers I generally have all their mates with me too, and the odd mum tags along, which makes it more sociable for me and we have a laugh at the kids fightin over the door bell. It is really funny. So my question is this, why do people feel the need to ruin it for others?
