You fanboys, are the reason for nintendo's rut. You all happily fork over your money for the 1200th mario game with stars in your eyes, you're the consumer, you are the paying customer, demand more! demand new IPs, and hold them to their promises. Nintendo is in many ways like apple, people are so googly eyed about the idea of the brand, that you'll proudly throw money at a turd if it has the nintendo logo on it. Nintendo isn't your friend, you don't gotta stand up for them, you've done your part by lining their pockets, you should demand more for your money, lest they become complacent.

Why shouldn't we be critical of game companies? We give them lots of money, they work for US, not the other way around...what does blind faith get you? Complacency on Nintendo's part, hold their feet to the fire a little bit fan boys if you wanna see more good things, no need to get your panties in a bunch when someone says Nintendo should maybe branch out maybe even a little beyond mario and zelda, hell at least give it a try? if it doesn't work out, at least ya can say ya get it a shot N :)

I find this no different than those weird gothy kids who wear chains and paint blood on their faces and have giant holes in their ears..is it weird? Sure. But who cares? Why should gamers have to defend themselves for their decisions and preferences in a free society, the statue personally isn't for me, maybe if I was single, cause you gotta admit, it is eye catching, lol. I've seen much more disgusting things passed off as "art", just throw in a couple douchey pretentious words like "consumerism" or "existential" and every hipster's face will turn from disgust to squinting with one arm crossed and the other resting his chin in hand.

Ugh, I stopped reading each one after I saw the word "offensive", what the hell is wrong with this world where we have to have academics sit around and tell us why folks should censor their work because it might "offend" someone...I've said it a million times, if you don't like it, DON'T LOOK AT IT! Why...oh why, can't it just be that simple? No one's saying you have to like it, and no one's saying you have to look at it, we have become a society of wusses.

@Tri-Enforcer @bluefox755 good, call of duty is crap too, I'm not trolling, I'm speaking on behalf of my friends who bought the Wii-U and wish they hadn't, no, I don't care about mario and zelda, I used to when I was a kid, a thousand games ago, but it's the same thing over and over, maybe nintendo is content with selling games to their core fanboy base, but why not make it accessible to those who don't care about mario and zelda x 9999

yayyy...more mario and zelda games...so glad i didn't buy a wii-u, for a company that's always talking about innovating, they sure are content to release the 10 millionth mario and zelda game...bring on the hate fanboys, you should be holding your guys to the fire, unless of course you're content with the same IPs for decades
