[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]No, I didn't donate for haiti I won't donate for Japan.Bubble_Man

You actually have a bit of a point. I imagine that more people are making donations for Japanese victims of natural disaster becausethere are a lot of gamers and anime fans. I didn't hear much -- if anything at all -- about donations to help the people in Christchurch, New Zealand when they suffered devastating earthquake losses. It's a good thing to donate to Japan, of course, but the before mentioned observation popped into my head.

Very true. I donated a bit to Japan but it's really the first time I've ever donated to a country's relief efforts. Usually when a disaster hits a country I think something like "wow that sucks", but move on pretty quick. With Japan I felt terrible about it and was much more concerned. I didn't really connect this directly to gaming or anything like that, and I wasn't thinking like "oh that sucks because I like videogames", but it was more like I cared in the first place because I like Japan a lot in general, though those reasons ultimately stem back to gaming, anime, general culture etc. I'm seeing much more publicity on gaming and technology sites about this crisis than I've ever seen about other recent distasters. It's great that many gamers and tech nerds and such can empathize with this but it's something to think about.

Dead Space 2 is in there right now, but I platinumed it recently! I'll still have it in there from time to time for Extraction (I have the LE) but I'm waiting for the PS move sharpshooter to play it. I'll have Marvel vs Capcom 3 in my system very shortly :D

I imported the PoP collection from Europe already, and I'll definitely be picking up the ICO collection. Splinter Cell's iffy because I was never a big SC fan (MGS ftw), and probably not Tomb Raider. I'm really hoping for a Final Fantasy Collection, Metal Gear Solid Collection, and Kingdom Hearts collection... that would be incredible

I think the last time I was put under the spell of a game to such a degree was when AC Brotherhood came out. The environment, music, and gameplay all just blended so well and really made the game immersive. As far as really recent games go, Dead Space 2 is a good choice. I'm on my 2nd playthrough, trying to beat it on hardcore difficulty and I must say it really makes your heart pound, knowing that if you die at any point, you could lose hours of playtime ( since you are only allowed to save three times).

MGS HD collection is your best bet, I wouldn't be surprised if it released this year. A PS2 is not a bad investment though, just saying, IMO it's the best console ever made.

I just beat it on normal. It's pretty easy as long as you know what to do. I got frustrated on a couple sections but that was only because I wasn't doing what I was supposed to. Now to start Hard Core mode... now THAT will be a challenge, but it's really the only trophy that makes DS2 hard to platinum.

It's the same as every year, honestly. Every year for the last decade I've said it was going to be the best year for games ever, I'd always say it's too expensive, and I'd always wind up buying every single one anyways :P good stuff

I don't mind the new Dante look, but DMC4 Dante would kick his ass just because he's older and much buffer than the scrawny DMC5 Dante. And Dante from Dante's Inferno would get owned by both of them because Dante's Inferno was little more than a cheap GoW knockoff.
