Everyone is talking about "blue-ray", now what the heck is it? Isnt a HD DVD player very nice too? Sorry I sound so ignorant but i was tryin to figureout if the HD DVD drive for the 360 is worth it.
Ok here are the brands to trust when buyin an HDTV, in order of which ones are the best
1. Sony, it just rules all
2. Toshiba, affordable and excellent quality
3. Samsung, great picture
some people go with panasonic, sharp, etc. Personally, working at a audio/video store, I can tell you these brands just dont hold up or perform nearly as nicely as the top 3 stated.
Do you think with the new black xbox coming out, the premium setup will cost less? I'm only 17 and I live in Canada. The premium pack comes to 567 after all is said and done which is still alot for a system. At sourcecc they are throwing in Gears of War with their premium bundle for free.
I was lookin at buyin a 360 and im tryin to figure out if i should buy premium or core. With core, theres no hard drive. Do you need a hard drive to play certain games or can u just buy a memory card?
What about buying a 360 off ebay? Is that a poor decision, I heard some earlier generation 360s burn holes in discs when they are paused for 30+ minutes. If I could get a 360 for around 300 CND off ebay unopened Ill go with that. My CPU stats are AMD 3500+, 1 g ram(expandable to 4 g), pci-e, and a samsung lcd.
THe xbox 360 comes to 560 tho, and I being only 17 only make minumin wage part-time. Thats a whole lot of hours goin to a system. Will the 360 look better than 7600gt, and like what about directx 10. Maybe I should wait a year and get the 360 when the price drops?
