Video games are not to blame for violence in real life, and neither are guns. People who commit violence are responsible for violence, simple as that. I think there actually is a good amount of diversity in video games, look at all the indie games out there. Some games just become far more popular than others.
@Disturbed_88 Those are just numbers. You have to look at the game as a whole, with its individual pros and cons, against the other games. GameSpot must have thought that these were the best, and they were probably trying to pull from all spectrums of gaming.
Games aren't the problem. Guns aren't the problem. Laws won't fix the problem. You know why? Because criminals, believe it or not, don't follow the law! Security needs to be heightened. Freedoms don't need to be taken away because of a few insane people who have caused great tragedy.
