I respectfully disagree with everything in your article. The F2P model is stale IMO, and only fun when you pay real money for additional content/gear. Hellgate London was really what you should have been writing about, not Blizzard evolving the genre. I recently got into the D3 beta and its awesome, The gold based auction house is currently up and running and its business as usual. D2 had farm sites all over the net that you could go to and pay real money for best in slot gear. It's been going on for 10 years now and people have been getting ripped off the whole time. Blizzard tapped into an existing (underground) market and made it safe for lazy worthless gamers to buy a sweet toon. Yeah its lame, but not gamebreaking and certainly not new. The author of this swill forgot to mention that the RMAH is not even available to HC players, thus I do not care about it, as it will in no way diminish MY experience. This article is laughable and I cannot wait to link it in the beta forums and see the RaGe.
