The 360 controller is the best controller to come out yet. However, I've played a ton of FPS on PC and I have to say that aiming with a mouse is much more accurate. People can argue with me but I gaurentee if you plug a wired 360 controller into your computer and tried playing something like CS source you would get owned.
You know what's bizzare is I loved PGR3 and I had no idea this was so soon to release. After the single player of PGR3 the multiplayer was a blast. Then suddenly one day, I couldn't find anybody online to play with. I'm now really looking forward to this game. Unfortunatly after halo my cash flow is on the low side.
I played the demo then bought it today. Skate is an excellent example of how a game can be played in a way thats new and unconventional. It just feels better than tony hawk. The controls are so responsive and fun to practice that I've been motivated to learn and try things all day. Not to mention the environment is enormous and beautiful; its an amazing game all around. Run to the store.
I agree. After playing the demo I was starting to get a feel for the game. It does such a good job of immersing you in this skateboarding world and the guy that did that review just wanted to talk about how the levels suck. I like the feeling of accomplishment when I flip trick onto a rail, then off into a manual then flip out. I think its going to be a blast.
I once played burnout revenge with a drunk aussie. It was a hilarious moment in my life. As for Gears of War, yeah... I've learned the best way to play is to set it up with some friends so you can be on the same team. most strangers suck to play with.
