Why? I'm a fan and think this is great? Imo only a fan boys would think this is bad thing. I play Xbox one games to play with friends who can't afford to be bothered with upgrading their PC, but on the other hand I'm always souping up my PC rig and this great news of cross buy means I can own both versions for the price of one. How is free shit a bad thing unless you have an agenda that's not in the best interest of true gaming? I don't believe this hurts console sales in the slightest because now "everyone can just buy a PC to play those games," if that were the case than why does Console versions of call of duty sell a HUGE amount more than the PC version, because in that train of thought.. if COD is on PC.. then why is the console version be the leading platform? And similar with games like elite dangerous that originally launched on PC first, since it already launched on PC then why did Console gamers buy it later when it launched on Xbox one when they "could've just bought it for PC instead?" And, by Frontiers comments, it sold better on Console.

This argument is a fan boy argument which its hard for some to agree with and those who do aren't true gamers imo, a true gamer wouldn't bitch about free shit and wouldn't bitch if other gamers got a opportunity to play more games. Fanboyism really is the Cancer of gaming, and sometimes I'm embarrassed to call myself one after hearing about this nonsense.

I'm a gamer at heart and don't give a **** about sides and plastic brand loyalty, i own a triple monitor PC setup, an Xbox one and PS4, this argument is retarded.

Probably because there's more children and teeny boppers, experimenting with their hormones, who use the PS4. I would assume more adults 35yrs and up, who may be married and have wives who take care their sexual needs, are probably using Xbox. I know me and all my buddies who are between 35-40 years old appreciate Xbox better for their media and TV features. And because we're married we don't need to rub one out as much as when we were younger. :)
