I dont hate my ex, she hates me. I still had feelings months after it ended, but she just found another dude a week later and screwed his brains out... I've only talked to her once since we've split, and it was her informing me that she has found someone new and she enjoys life so much more now. Gee, thanks.
That's interesting. Did you completely uninstall/clean out the old driver version before putting in the new one? Or did you just install the newest one right on top of the old?

I installed it over the old one, I have never had a problem with driver conflicts before...

well, cover the basics and then work into the more complicated problems. check for patches for the game, always make sure to have the latest version check for drivers for video cards, sounds cards, chipset, always make sure you have the latest version make sure you dont have anything running in the backround, check for process with a lot of memory consumption. defrag your hard drive, I highly reccomend "Smart Defrag" http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.html from IObit. go down the list and if it doesnt help then come back.
