I want to cancel my sub as well but i cant enter it either

Half Life 1 just had a better story than HL2. Besides that when Half Life 1 came out there was no other FPS like it + Half Life 1 was probably my first real PC Game which made the experience a lot better at that time.

1. Classic RPG (Fallout, Baldurs Gate...)
2. First Person Shooter (Half Life...)
3. Action/Adventure (Tomb Raider etc.)
4. Modern RPG (Fallout 3, ...)
5. Adventure (Little Big Adventure, Broken Sword)
6. Sims (Theme park, RTC, Theme Hospital..)

I'll have to wait for my new PC and then i'll probably give this game a shot (and Bioshock, Orange Box, CoD4) but as someone who didnt play the game it kinda looks like an ordinary game a combination of Far Cry and Battlefield but that's just what it seems to be i guess. The graphics are very good but i'd like to know how good the story is, ofcourse i dont want any spoilers but i don't see how this game story can be better than Half Life's or F.E.A.R.'s story.

GOTY? i dont know , Assassin's Creed is still coming too :P not a FPS but still........

I probably will buy them however like other people already said is that the magic back then came with the graphics.

I really loved Warcraft 2 but would it be the same to play it on a new engine ? I didn't think so about Tomb Raider neither but that's just my opinion.
