Outcast: Is a really good game adventure game despite the fact no one has played it.

Ofcourse i dont know which games you know and which you don't know but if i were you i would try some of these classics:

Baldurs Gate (1 & 2)

Icewindale (1 & 2)

Fallout (1 & 2)

Planescape Torment

Recent Games: I must say im having a hard time on that too...

Titan Quest (Better solution than Sylverfall)  

Sylverfall (i didn't like the game but it could be nice to you)  

But to be honest i must agree with you that most RPG's nowadays don't really have the quality i'm looking for. Oblivion was fun for a while but get's boring.

I haven't finished Stalker yet but you don't want to buy this game because it has such good plot. Stalker doesn't feel like a great FPS because there's not really any gore. Stalker doesnt feel like a RPG because the only RPG thing in the game is that you can do quests and you have an inventory screen.

Stalker is a good game but nothing special, u also have to love weird games like this.
