dude , you can't call a game a BETA just because it's released later on another console with extra content, the 360 version of UT3 released later on the xbox 360 had improved graphics and extra maps and an extended campaign, but we don't call the ps3 version of UT3 a BETA do we, basically your logic is completely flawed, because a BETA is an unfinished game that cannot be played all the way through, you can play the whole game on 360, therfore it is not a BETA, calling the 360 version of ToV a BETA just doesn't make any sense in the real world, unless of course you want to concede that the ps3 version of UT3 was a beta, lol Do you completely FAIL at reading?!? That a game is re-released with extra content does not make a game a beta THAT THE GAME HAS UN-IMPLEMENTED DATA ON THE DISC thats witheld for the PS3 release makes it a beta. you are not given the full experience despite most of it already having been in the works during the 360's development and on the disc but unplayable![QUOTE="delta3074"][QUOTE="hot114"] Did it contain any unimplemented characters/areas/items that were on the PS3 disc but only saw the light on the 360?hot114
How would you describe a game ridden with placeholders for a future release?
If i buy a FPS game and discover 7 unused weapon skins, 3 unusable multiplayer maps and 6 unused character models in the game files only to hear a future release for a entirely diverent console will have all these unlocked then yeah damn straight im gona call it a beta!
hes got a point there.very annoying is this was probably intentionally done

Wrong.
Game just doesn't look interesting - first off we haven't seen gameplay yet, and probably won't for another year... the premise is just laughable, too. Shadow of the Colossus was OK but this game is going too far totry and get approval.

whatever man, most people here already got you figured out.
Okay tell me why this game is going to be great.
bigger question is how did u come about that score from just a trailer(doesnt halo reach have only a trailer)[QUOTE="AHUGECAT"]Judging from your review scores for PS3 games that must make it an incredible game. @ ahugecat why do you keep a sig that loses you credibility in these kind of arguments.Looks like a 6.0-6.5 game.

I know insulting people about their intelligence in a gaming forum is a lot better. I dunno why but stuff like this shouldn't exist. It is kind of a double contradiction. They hype up the games, then people like you put them down and insult people. Which is worse? Probably what you just did. agreed, extremely immature post[QUOTE="valmonte"]
You know... I used to think Cows weren't particularly bright. They rallied behind Sony despite numerous marketing gaffs and outright idiotic decisions regarding their hardware. A weak library, premium cost system, the sixaxis, the PSP Christmas viral campaign, the loss of numerous exclusives, the difficulty in coding for the mighty Cell, the war cry has always been, "Just Wait". I used to think Cows weren't particularly bright, but when the Slim came out, I decided to give it a try. I loved Infamous & MGS4, and I've spent an embarrassing amount of time on Little Big Planet. (Heavenly Sword was okay.) I'm playing Drake's Uncharted 1 right now, and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel. And God of War III is among my top anticipated games.
I used to think Cows weren't particularly bright... and that hasn't really changed. Supporting Sony as if it were a sports team or a religious organization is particularly confusing to me. It's as if you've applied a sense of nationalism to your game system. You cite a handful of 2009 titles and declare them to be the greatest, with no real valid argument supporting this as 4 out of 6 of your examples have yet to be released. You vaguely allude to "reviews" from unnamed sites, and declare their opinions to be fact. This troubles me. How do I know if I agree with their reviews if I don't know who they are? Further, you have to qualify your entry of GT5 with "a lot of stores have it listed" within 2009.
This entire argument seems exceedingly weak for a "No Contest" declaration. I'm glad you're enjoying your PS3. I'm enjoying mine quite a bit as well. But you're not dating it. You don't have to defend it's honor or explain to your parents why you settled for the ugly girl.PS3 has come a long way to answering the issues I used to have with it. Cows... not so much.
