i just played it today for the first time at my buddy's (still sceptical on buying with cod4 around the corner) but this game is great, way better than the first two, feels familiar in a good way, played single player a bit and looks great and no framerate issues from what i saw although the multiplayer did have more lag than i expected, bad luck i guess, nonetheless this game is pretty sweet for a console fps
Yea i just finished playing it, the game blows away live and 08(ps3 one), cant wait to pick it up tuesday i think, but why the hell do they force you to play as the spurs, i hate em, GO RAPS !!!! we're taking the conference this year baby

Yeah, I haven't had a Nintendo console die on me, like the PS2 did. The 360 is still alive and kicking, but who knows what could happen to mine.
ive had bad luck with nintendo, both my snes and 64 dont wanna read my cartridges, it takes like 10 mins to get a game to work, i know a LOT of people that have a wii though and not a single problem(controllers a different story), in my opinion it seems to be the most reliable by FAR followed by the ps3 then obviously the 360
It dosent matter if the 3rd didnt sell as much, they lost half their fanbase, if they do a good job advertising it they can get alot of new people interested in this game, maybe some casuals will like it and maybe the 3 or so million that didnt follow up with the third one will like the direction mgs took with the 4th and pick it up...its all advertising

IMO, this gen has been one of the worst videogame generations I've seen.
I hear ya. I still find myself playing snes/ps1/ps2 more than my 360 and ps3 and i have way more fun with them. This gen's too focused on graphics and not gameplay
i think some of you may have interpreted this wrong. it says SE is looking for help from NA companies to produce games. they want to make some titles that are more action orriented to appeal to the NA market. this has nothing to do with multiplat. if people wont buy a jrpg on the ps3 why would they buy it for the 360? and blue dragon sold poorly too

Games being better is a subjective or even opinionated statement. It depends on the user. If you're taking hardware, PS3 is the clear winner. If you're talkin sales Wii is the winner. All you have is attach rate. agreed. im sure theres some people out there who prefer the ps3's library over the 360 (im not one of them), in my opinion 360 has the games, ps3 has the hardware, wii has the sales. its all preference
